Emakina at European Information architecture Summit Amsterdam

Last week end Emakina attended to European Information Architecture Summit 2008 in Amsterdam. This event is the biggest one at European level in this discipline. More than 300 experts mostly from Europe but also from USA were present. Emakina was massively present at this event. 12 Emakinian from Design is Dead, Groupe Reflect, The Reference and Emakina Brussels had the opportunity to discover the latest trends and most interesting evolution in the information architecture field. This Keynote delivered some of our key learning about how we can build community website and social networks.
Information architecture is really much more making sitemap. It groups many discipline like usability, user centred design, service design, user experience linked to any kind of digital and even non digital channel. The IA community is very dynamic and is addressing more and more multi channel experience issues. More and more, all studies try focusing on designing valuable experience for your customer using all the possible digital devices.
